Spasmomen 40mg Tablets – 30 Tablets
Active Ingredient: Otilonium Bromide 40 mg
Therapeutic Class: Antispasmodic agent
Indications: Spasmomen is indicated for the treatment of abdominal pain, intestinal spasms, and discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other functional gastrointestinal disorders.
Mechanism of Action: Otilonium bromide acts directly on the smooth muscle of the gastrointestinal tract by blocking calcium influx, leading to muscle relaxation and relief of spasms.
Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose is one tablet (40 mg) two to three times daily, preferably before meals. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water.
