Indication:
NovoRapid is a rapid-acting insulin used for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in adults, adolescents, and children aged 1 year and above. It helps to control blood glucose levels, especially around meal times.

Mechanism of Action:
Insulin aspart works by replacing the insulin that the body normally produces. It starts to act within 10–20 minutes, peaks in 1–3 hours, and lasts for up to 5 hours.

Dosage & Administration:

• Administer subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh, upper arm, or buttocks.

• Typically taken immediately before meals or within 20 minutes after starting a meal.

• Rotate injection sites to reduce the risk of lipodystrophy.

Storage:

• Store unopened pens in a refrigerator (2°C–8°C).

• After first use, store at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 4 weeks.

• Do not freeze.

Precautions:

• Monitor blood glucose levels regularly.

• Consult your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medications.

• Risk of hypoglycemia—use with caution.
