 NATRILIX SR 1.5 mg Tablets (30 Tablets)
Active Ingredient: Indapamide 1.5 mg (Sustained Release)
Therapeutic Class: Thiazide-like Diuretic / Antihypertensive
Dosage Form: Sustained-release oral tablet

Indications:

NATRILIX SR is indicated for:

• Essential hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Edema associated with congestive heart failure (in some cases)

Mechanism of Action:

Indapamide is a thiazide-like diuretic that:

• Inhibits sodium reabsorption in the distal tubule, promoting natriuresis and diuresis

• Improves arterial compliance and reduces vascular resistance, contributing to long-term blood pressure reduction

• Has minimal metabolic side effects at low doses

Dosage and Administration:

• Recommended dose: 1.5 mg once daily, preferably in the morning

• Can be taken with or without food

• Not intended for use in children

Warnings and Precautions:

• Use caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment

• Monitor electrolyte levels, particularly potassium and sodium

• Avoid use in patients with severe hepatic encephalopathy or anuria

• Caution with other antihypertensives or drugs affecting electrolytes

Side Effects:

Common: hypokalemia, dizziness, headache, fatigue
Less common: rash, gastrointestinal disturbances, increased uric acid, altered glucose tolerance

Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
