Active Ingredient: Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 5 mg

Description:
LEVOZIN contains levocetirizine, a non-sedating second-generation antihistamine. It blocks the action of histamine, helping relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin rashes.

Indications:

• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal or perennial)

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)

• Skin allergies

Dosage:

• Adults and children ≥6 years: 5 mg once daily

• Taken with or without food

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine or cetirizine

• Severe renal impairment

• Infants under 6 years (in tablet form)

Warnings:

• May cause mild drowsiness in some people

• Use with caution in elderly and kidney-impaired patients

• Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor

Side Effects:

• Drowsiness (rare)

• Headache

• Dry mouth

• Fatigue
