COSOPT EYE DROPS 5ML

Active Ingredients:

• Dorzolamide Hydrochloride 2%

• Timolol Maleate 0.5%

Indications:
COSOPT is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, especially when treatment with a beta-blocker alone is not sufficient.

How It Works:

• Dorzolamide reduces the production of fluid in the eye by inhibiting carbonic anhydrase.

• Timolol is a beta-blocker that also reduces fluid production in the eye.
  Together, they help lower eye pressure effectively.

Dosage and Usage:

• Instill one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily.

• If using other eye drops, wait at least 10 minutes before applying them.

Precautions:

• Not suitable for people with asthma, certain heart conditions, or severe breathing problems.

• Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting them.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.

• Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
