The product contains the active substance Etoricoxib. It belongs to a group of drugs called COX-2 selective inhibitors.
These drugs, in turn, belong to the class of medicinal products designated as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
The medicine helps to reduce the pain and swelling in joints and muscles in patients aged 16 years or over with a degenerative or inflammatory joint disease (arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis [Bechterew's disease]) or with a gout attack (gouty arthritis ) to relieve.
The medicine is also used for the short-term treatment of moderate pain after dental surgery in patients aged 16 years or older.
