Therapeutic Class:
Centrally Acting Cholinesterase Inhibitor – Anti-Alzheimer's Agent

Indications:
VIRONTA is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. It works by increasing the levels of acetylcholine in the brain, which may help reduce the symptoms of dementia in Alzheimer’s patients.

Dosage and Administration:
The usual recommended dose is 10 mg once daily, preferably at bedtime. Treatment should be initiated and supervised by a physician experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with cardiac conduction disorders, asthma, peptic ulcer disease, or urinary obstruction.

• Not recommended in severe hepatic impairment.

• Should not be abruptly discontinued.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, muscle cramps, fatigue, and appetite loss.

Storage:
Store below 25°C, in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
