Scopinal Tablets 20s Active Ingredient: Hyoscine Butylbromide 10 mg Therapeutic Class: Antispasmodic agent Indications: Scopinal is used to relieve abdominal cramps, spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and spasms of the urinary and genital tract. Mechanism of Action: Hyoscine Butylbromide works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal, biliary, and urinary tracts, thus reducing pain and cramping. Dosage and Administration: Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1 to 2 tablets up to 3 times daily. The tablet should be swallowed with water and not chewed.
