Therapeutic Class:
Lipid-Lowering Agent – HMG-CoA Reductase Inhibitor (Statin)

Indications:
ROSATIN is indicated for:

• Reducing elevated total cholesterol, LDL-C, ApoB, and triglycerides

• Increasing HDL-C in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia

• Prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients

It works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a key role in cholesterol production in the liver.

Dosage and Administration:
The usual starting dose is 10 mg once daily. Dosage should be individualized according to the patient's lipid profile and response to therapy. It can be taken with or without food, at any time of day.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with liver disease, kidney impairment, or those consuming large amounts of alcohol

• Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation

• Periodic monitoring of liver function and lipid levels is recommended

Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, muscle pain, abdominal pain, nausea, and weakness. Rare but serious adverse effects include rhabdomyolysis and liver dysfunction.

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
