Description:
Invokanna 100 mg contains canagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor that lowers blood sugar by increasing glucose excretion in urine. Used in adults with type 2 diabetes, it also offers cardiovascular and renal protection.

Indications:
Management of type 2 diabetes in adults alongside diet and exercise. Can be used alone or with other antidiabetics. Reduces cardiovascular and renal risks.

Dosage:
Start with 100 mg once daily before first meal. May increase to 300 mg if needed and kidney function allows. Swallow tablet whole with water.

Contraindications:
Type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe renal impairment, allergy to canagliflozin.

Warnings:
Risk of genital/urinary infections, dehydration, low blood pressure. Monitor kidney function. Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Side Effects:
Increased urination, genital infections, dizziness, rare ketoacidosis.

Store below 30°C in a dry place away from sunlight.
